International cooperation

KATAJA cooperates with international doctoral education networks and universities both formally and informally.

International cooperation courses foster collaboration among doctoral students, help in creating broader international networks, and acquaints students with new academic institutions, which is essential in the international academic job market.

For example, KATAJA organises doctoral courses in cooperation with EIASM as part of the EDEN doctoral course network programme. In addition, KATAJA cooperates informally through the contacts of the subject-specific doctoral programmes with several Nordic universities, for example, by free student exchange on doctoral courses.

In addition, KATAJA fosters internationalisation and high quality by inviting highly regarded international faculty to give doctoral courses.
