FIGSIB Doctoral Tutorial in International Business 2025
Call for Papers
The FIGSIB Doctoral Tutorial in International Business will be held on 25–26 August 2025 at Aalto University School of Business, Otaniemi, Espoo. This two-day event provides doctoral students in international business with the opportunity to discuss their work-in-progress with distinguished faculty and peers. Participants will benefit from feedback, networking opportunities, and a keynote session delivered by Professor Catherine Welch (Trinity College Dublin and Distinguished Visiting Professor at Aalto University School of Business).
Admittance
Admission is based on the relevance of the topic to international business. Doctoral students from all Finnish universities are encouraged to submit either a research plan or a research paper (up to 10 pages, all inclusive). Both early-stage and more advanced papers are welcome. Selections will be made based on the submitted materials.
Submission
Please submit your research plan or research paper in PDF format to aleksi.niittymies@aalto.fi by the 1 June 2025. The cover page should include:
- Title of the work
- Author’s name(s), with any co-authors and their roles
- Starting date of doctoral studies
- Current stage of doctoral studies
- Affiliation
- Supervisor(s) of the dissertation
